It’s summertime! And summertime means that the Irma Stern™ Museum Garden becomes a cool oasis – the Clivias are in flower, the Yesterday Today and Tomorrow shrubs are sending their sweet scent into the air. Did you know that the museum garden even has its own (and very rare) resident chameleons? And don’t forget to invite friends and family, with up to five people per picnic. Regular museum entry fees

Invitation: Glenbridge School Exhibition Opening  Mondays at the Irma Stern™ Museum are extra special days – this is the day when the museum hosts workshops for learners with special educational needs. Our main partnership school is Glenbridge Special School, and their 8 to 11-year-olds always amaze us with their creativity and enthusiasm for artmaking. At the museum the learners create freely in a non-judgemental space, looking at Irma Stern's work as an inspiration for their own art. The lessons are designed in a way that encourages each learner to explore and expand their abilities while having fun at the same time.  Join us
