Professional Development Art Workshop

Thanks to our generous funders, the Irma Stern™ Museum will again present a three-day professional development workshop for soon-to-graduate artists. Over three days, participants will be coached by leading industry figures on how to maximise their impact and success in the art world. Writer, editor and social media specialist Misha Krynauw, photographer and lecturer Lauren Theunissen and curator and director at Stevenson Gallery Sisipho Ngodwana will present practical hands-on workshops covering everything from writing artists' statements, biographies, and press releases to how to photograph a portfolio with a cellphone, and roles and expectations within a gallery setting. We invite soon-to-graduate artists to apply for this programme by sending a half-page motivation and biography to irmastern@uct.ac.za.

Please note that this workshop is only for soon-to-graduate art students in their third or final year of university, college, or post-school art education.
