Newsletter 9/22

Wishing you a wonderful festive season and happiness in the new year!

And so we come to the last days of 2022… A huge thank you for all your support for the UCT Irma Stern™ Museum, be it by visiting, reading the newsletter, following us on social media, engaging with our events, generous funding or the myriad other ways in which the museum receives support and encouragement. Best wishes to you and yours for this period and the coming year!

We are excited that we could extend Georgina Gratrix’s exhibition ‘The Cult of Ugliness’ until 25 February 2023. Additionally, the exhibition “How I Began to Paint”, a look at the themes and influences in Stern’s early work, also continues in the new year.

We look forward to seeing you again at the museum, and the UCT Irma Stern Museum remains open during December except on public holidays. Note, please, that we will close at 12.00 on 24 December and 31 December.

All the best from the ISM Team
